Clara Mae Fulton, 91, passed away November 8, 2014 at Carmel Hills Living Center. She was the daughter of Biege and Winifred Rogers. Clara worked at Getz Prescriptions and worked in various day cares throughout her life. She was a member of Glenwood Park United Methodist Church and worked with the youth and taught Sunday school for 75 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fulton, in 1982, a brother, Bobby, a sister Margaret Fillinger and her parents. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Vickie Kelsey (Larry Poe) and Cindy Lamb (Jack Lamb); 4 grandchildren: Mark, Matt, Melissa and Dustin, and 7 Great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
