Adajia Ranae Gallipo, 40, Springfield, MO passed away, Friday, October 28, 2022, at Cox South Medical Center.
Adajia was born July 8, 1982, in Olathe, Kansas, to Duke Gust and Anita Burnett. She was a graduate of Oak Grove High School and attended Haskell College. Adajia was a Developmental Disabilities Professional for K&C Stepping Stones. She was greatly respected by her co-workers, and she touched so many lives in the community with her kindness and love. Adajia loved to travel, going to museums, and collecting rocks and gems, and she enjoyed the arts and entertainment. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage, she was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and was fascinated with dinosaurs. Adajia’s greatest love was spending time with her children and fiancée.
Adajia is survived by her fiancée; her mothers, Anita Burnett and Kay Ronsley; children, Makayla Twombly and Phelan Gallipo; seven sisters, Kristi Reddy, Amber Currivan, Amanda Kuhlman, Heaven Burnett, Ginny Gust, Eileen Cooley, Joann Slone; nine brothers, Gary Reeves, Eric Hernandez, Larry Burnett Jr., Joshua Burnett, Aaron Burnett, Alan Anson, Richard Anson, Charles Ronsley, and Steven Gust; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Duke Gust and Charles Ronsley, and a brother Travis Moore.
A visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 5-7 pm at Greenlawn East Funeral Home, 3540 East Seminole, Springfield, MO. A celebration of Adajia’s life at Speaks Suburban Chapel,18020 E 39th St., Independence, MO 64055, at 2pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2022, with a visitation from 1pm – 2pm. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Buckner, MO.
