Alyssa Nevaeh Gardner of Kansas City, Mo, is now resting safely in the arms of God. Heaven will now be more beautiful to view. Alyssa passed away on her 1st birthday, December 16, 2004. In her short life her light burned bright, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Although the light has dimmed it will always burn in the hearts of her family and friends. Alyssa is survived by her mother Melissa Gardner of the home; father, Chad Villarreal of Independence, MO: sister, Christina and brother, Dominic, also of the home. Other survivors include grandmother Inez Couch of Indep.MO, grandfather Larry Gardner of Kansas City, MO, grandmother Lois Anzlone of Indep.MO, great grandmother Faye Gardner of Kansas City, MO, uncle Bobby Gardner, aunt Stacy Gardner, great aunts, Kathleen Merriott and Carol DiCaro, great uncle Raymond Merriott, Jr. and cousin Timothy Thomas III. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation from 1-2:00 pm at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
