Gary Henry Schneider, born on May 14, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 3, 2025, in Liberty, Missouri.

After graduating from Northeast High School, Gary chose to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Mountain Home, Idaho for 4 years. This experience contributed to his strong character. After being honorably discharged from the military he was married to Suzanne and they made their move back to Missouri. Gary lived in Independence, Missouri for 35 years before moving to Clinton, Mo. only 5 years ago. It was there he made many new friends and took part in the neighborhood coffee club.

Gary devoted a significant portion of his life to his career at the Ford plant, where he was instrumental in manufacturing vehicles. He took pride in contributing to an industry that plays such a vital role in the community.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gary was known for his vibrant personality. With a good sense of humor and a bit of an onery streak, he had a unique way of bringing laughter into the lives of those around him with his jovial remarks. Friends and family alike will fondly remember his ability to lighten up any situation with his quick wit.

In his personal life, Gary found immense pride in his home and yard, maintaining his grass in pristine condition. Beyond his meticulous yard work, he enjoyed an array of hobbies, including watching sports, playing shuffleboard, and working on hot rods. One of his proudest accomplishments was building a 1929 model A hot rod with his son, Jerry. A project that served as a bonding experience and a source of cherished memories for both of them.

Gary is survived by his son, Jerry Schneider; granddaughters, Allie and Kaylee Schneider and ex-wife, Suzanne Darby. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bernice Schneider.

Gary's legacy will live on through the laughter he shared, the work he accomplished, and the love he cultivated within his family and community. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
