Lewis C. Gensler

Lewis C. Gensler, 93, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, October 5th at Blue Springs Care Center. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7th at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Lewis was born January 26, 1912 in Booneville, MO to Charles E. and Daisy A. (Wallace) Gensler. He retired in 1974 from Union Wire Rope after 38 years of employment. Lewis enjoyed spending time with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was the best Dad and Grandfather anyone could ask for. Mr. Gensler is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Don Gensler of Kansas City, MO, John and Jane Gensler of Blue Springs, MO, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; a brother Horace Gensler of Shawnee Mission, KS. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife Mildred in 1992.
