Carol Kay Gentry

Carol Kay Gentry, 57 of Kansas City, KS passed away Mon. Oct. 11, 2004 at Shawnee Mission Hospital. Services will be 1:30 pm Fri, Oct 15, 2004 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Gentry was born on Aug 4, 1947 to Melvin and Agnes (Miller) Idleman in Independence, MO and had lived in this area most of her life. She had been a Supervisor at Argosy Casino and had been active with the PTA. She was a member of the AARP and had a love for the Christmas Season and her family. Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Idleman and a sister, Diana Webb. She is survived by two children, Travis D. Gentry of Lenexa, KS and Carrie Gentry of Kansas City, KS. A grandson, Travis F. Gentry. Her father, Melvin Idleman of Independence and a brother, David Idleman of Independence.
