Sandra Gentry

Sandra S. Gentry, 72, of Independence, MO was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch, Suite 100, Merriam, KS 66204 or Central Assembly of God Church, 1009 W. 23rd St., Independence. MO 64055.. Sandy was born December 13, 1938 in Waukegan, IL to John and Siiri (Hedman) Stupar. Her life was focused on a ministry praising God and serving others. Mrs. Gentry was a long-time member of Central Assembly of God Church in Independence, MO. Sandra is survived by her children Mike Gentry and wife Dana, Cynthia Gentry Black and husband Lloyd, Robin Przekop, Melody Frank and husband James; grandsons Jeremy Gentry, Brett Przekop; siblings Sonya Stupar, John Stupar and wife Rita, Jerry Stupar and wife Fran, Shirley Pilkington and husband Larry, Sharon Pettegrew and husband Hal. She was preceded in death by her husband David Gentry in 2007; and her brother James Stupar.
