George began his career at Armco Steel and dedicated many years to the company. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence. Later in life, he transitioned into a position at the City of Independence where he continued to contribute to his community with the same level of dedication.

Outside of work, George found solace in pursuing his hobbies and interests. He had a green thumb like no other; growing tomatoes was his passion. Each year, he nurtured a bountiful harvest and generously shared the fruits of his labor with friends and family. One could taste the love he poured into each tomato. George's proudest accomplishment in life was his daughter, Leigh Anne. He admired her fiercely and took immense pride in her cross-country accomplishments throughout her high school career. As a father, George provided unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance, instilling within her the same determination and perseverance that defined his own character.

Surrounded by his loving family, George peacefully passed away. His legacy will forever illuminate the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. He leaves behind cherished memories and an indelible mark on the hearts of his loved ones.
