Shirley Gerber

Shirley Gerber 65, passed away early Friday morning, January 26, 2007. Graveside services will be Friday, February 9, 2007 at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Friday February 9, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to the family c/o Carla Carvitto, 112 S. Fuller Independence, MO 64050. Shirley was born May 27, 1941 in Blue Springs, MO to Marion George Albert and Gladys Irene (Helm) Bolton. She was raised in the Independence area, and attended Fort Osage High School. For the past 19 years, Shirley has resided in Kirksville, MO. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maynard "Wesley� Gerber in 1977 and her parents. Survirors include: son Michael Gerber (Linda), daughter Carla Carvitto (Steven), son John Gerber (Tammy), son Don Gerber (Faith), sisters, Mary Andes, Della Fay Briggs, and Irene Ingersoll. Other survivors include grandchildren; Thelma, Stephanie, Steven, Nathan Carvitto; Wesley, D.J., Johnathon, Shawn, Gladys, Alex, Austin, Adam, Ashley, and Andrew Gerber.
