Ashley Gibson, 33, passed into the arms of the Heavenly Father on September 19, 2017.
She was born on August 4, 1984 in Kansas City, MO to John and Donna Ambro. She graduated from Englewood Christian Academy in 2002 where she enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer. She had a beautiful heart and was always looking for ways to help others. She loved Jesus with all her heart and was an example of a Christian woman. She was employed at Blue Springs Optical where she loved being around people and helping others. Outside of work she spent her time with the loves of her life: her daughter Grace and her son Blayne.
She is survived by her children Grace and Blayne Gibson of Odessa, MO; Ken Gibson of Odessa, MO; one sister and her family Amber Hanna and husband Marc and their children Madeline and Michael of Lone Jack, MO; grandmother Marilyn Wallis of Independence, MO; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Donna Ambro, grandfather Don Wallis and grandparents John and Jean Ambro.
Her visitation will be from 5-8pm Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO, 64052.
