Franklyn “Jack” Eugene Gifford, 77, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held Monday, Jan 22nd, 2018 from 10am-12pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.
Franklyn was born to Franklyn R. Gifford and Capitola E. McDaniel on December 31, 1940. His mom, dad and Grandson, Ryan Lee Gifford preceded him in death.
Survivors include daughters, Connie Peace and her husband Rob of Wellsville, KS, Lora Moulden and her husband Gary of Wathena, KS, Alosia Bradley and her husband Josh of Clinton, MO, sons, Randy Gifford and his wife Marilyn of Independence, Ed Gifford of Independence, Mike Gifford of Grain Valley, MO, Matt Gifford of Sabetha, KS, Paul Gifford and his wife Amy of Clinton, MO; as well as 26 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Jim Gifford, Mary Durham, and Martha Cockran, along with care givers and friends at Independence Manor for the past 11 years.
