Daniel Earl Gladden

Daniel Earl Gladden, 66 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Research Medical Center. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. Daniel was born October 31, 1953 in Salem OH to Earl Alexander and Grace Margaret (Wandle) Gladden. Daniel enjoyed cooking, was an avid outdoorsman, author and being a caregiver. He loved to Fly Fish, go camping, kayaking, and dancing with Kim, his late wife. He also enjoyed spending time with the “Courtyard Crew” and most of all, his family time. He is survived by; his mother, Grace Gladden of Tulsa, OH; a son Jacob Gladden (Catherine Mechler) and their daughter, Scarlett Gladden all of Houston, TX; a daughter, Angel Chrisman, husband David and their children, Daisy and Aidric of Independence, MO, a son, Christopher Schlosser (Amanda Luttrell) and their children, Hailey Anderson, and Kaden Schlosser all of Gladstone, MO; his many siblings, William “Bill” Gladden and wife Robin, John Gladden and wife Cynthia, Lisa Irby and husband Trea and Holly Conklin and husband Thomas Widmann; his well-loved nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly and his “Courtyard Crew”, Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.speakschapel.com (Arrangements: Carson-Speaks Chapel (816) 252-7900)
