Diane Glebe (Ford)

Diane Glebe, 67 of Independence, MO passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at St. Luke’s East Hospital. Cremation is planned with graveside inurnment services to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Lobb Cemetery. Diane was born May 11, 1953 in Neosho, MO to Paul and Kathryn Ford and spent her early life in Neosho before moving to Independence. She had worked for various automotive shops as a bookkeeper, most recently for Buddy’s Automotive. She was also the club manager for the Independence VFW for a number of years and member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; a son, Todd Willoughby and wife Rebecca of Lee’s Summit, MO; a step son, Damon Glebe of Lee’s Summit, MO; 2 step daughters, Laura Berg and husband Mike of Blue Springs, MO and Julie Twite of Raymore, MO; a brother, Jerry Ford of Eustis, FL; a step sister, Jackie Lafley of Neosho, MO; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Wendi Doyle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Glebe on August 7, 2013.
