Kimbra Dyan (Calvert) Glynn, 46, Independence, MO passed away Jan. 27, 2015. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Feb. 2 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Lobb Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Sunday at the chapel. The family requests contributions to Toys For Tots. Kim was born July 12, 1968 in Independence, MO and was a life-long resident of the area. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in the Class of 1986. She worked for the IRS for twelve years and retired in 2012. Kim was one of the founders of a national organization called Marine Mamas, a social network of mothers of U.S. Marines. She loved music and going to concerts, antiquing, following the Royals and Mavericks, the ocean and was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia. Kim is survived by husband Tim Glynn, of the home; son Tyler Dinwiddie, Independence, MO; step-son Jason Holt, Gladstone, MO; step-daughter Katelynn Glynn; sister Pat Townsend and husband Chuck; brothers Mike Calvert and wife Cindi, all of Independence, MO; Rick Calvert and wife Laurine, Polo, MO; sister Becky Calvert; loving friend Robyn Hayes, both of Independence, MO and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
