Lou Ernest Goble
January 8, 1930-April 1, 2022
Lou was born in Holden, Missouri , the son of Dick and Clemensa Goble. That day was the beginning of a life well lived. Lou grew up with family that taught him the value of learning, the rewards of hard work, family and friends. He married Sarah Laney in September of 1950 and they enjoyed over 71 years together. They brought four children into this world. They are their pride and joy. Lou taught them all to be strong, intelligent people and the pride that comes with a job well done. He had four grandchildren and one great grandson that were his joy. He shared a special bond that only a grandpa can have. With Sarah he learned to hunt and fish. He enjoyed many years pursuing those interest. Lou was co-owner of Goble Plumbing Company in Lee’s Summit, MO. He gained many friends in the construction trades and was an innovator in the plumbing business. He had a large extended family and many friends. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Lou is proceeded in death by his loving wife Sarah, his parents, brothers Joe and John, sister Leda, grandson Cole and many dear friends. He is survived by his children Elizabeth Barner (Ed), Ted Goble (Kathy), Kyle Goble (Lisa), Jim Goble (Lisa), grandchildren Jesse Goble Parisoff (Casey), Zachary Goble, Rebecca Goble, one great grandson Aidan Parisoff and many special nieces and nephews.
Services are private. His children’s wish is for all who knew him to take time to honor his life and cherish time with their own family and friends.
