Milton B. Gold, 91 of Independence, MO passed away at Independence Regional Medical Center, Sat., November 8, 2003, Independence, MO. Services 1:00 pm Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation from 7-8:30 pm on Wednesday at the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Mr. Gold was owner, operator and founder of Gold Foundry & Machine Works of Independence, MO, a member of American Foundry Society, Knife & Fork Club, past member and officer of Independence Chamber of Commerce and he and his wife loved Ballroom Dancing. Mr. Gold was born July 31, 1912 in Independence, MO the son of Samuel and Olevia Z. Gold. He was married to Ruth "Bean� Gold the love of his life and she preceded him in death. He is survived by one sister, Lorraine, of Springfield, MO, several nieces and nephews and Michael S. Butts of Independence, MO of whom he considered like a son, also a special friend, Hazel Winters, Independence, MO.
