James "Jimmy" Golden

James David "Jimmy� Golden, 45 of Independence, passed away Sat. Dec 24, 2005 at his home. Services will be 1:00 pm Thu. Dec. 29, 2005 at the Eastside Baptist Church, 19901 E. 78 Highway, Independence, MO. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 9:00 pm, Wednesday at the Church. Mr. Golden was born on May 9, 1960 and was a lifelong area resident. He had been a self-employed Painter for many years and previously had been a painter and packer at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Jimmy was a devoted husband, father and son, who loved spending time with his family. He had a deep passion for softball and was a avid hunter. He never met a stranger and had a great love of Kids of all ages. He enjoyed telling stories to anyone and everyone. Jimmy was of the Baptist faith and a 1978 graduate of Fort Osage High School. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Pam Golden of the home,. Two daughters, Jamie Golden of Kansas City, MO and Jessica Golden of the home. His mother and stepfather, Delta Dee and Jim Brummitt of Independence and his father and stepmother, Jim and Susan Golden of Pleasant Valley, MO. Two sisters, Kathy Golden and Rachael Golden, both of Pleasant Valley, MO and a brother and sister in law, Tony and Kristi Brummitt of Edmond, OK. His grandmother, Rene K. Golden of Grain Valley, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
