Pamula Jo Golden-Timmons, aged 50, went to heaven on November 3, 2013 at 12:45 a.m. at her home in Independence Missouri after a courageous battle with brain cancer with her daughters by her side. Pam was born May 13, 1963 in Kansas City Missouri, the daughter of Donald LeRoy and Emma Josephine (Baxter) Ginn.
In 1980, Pam married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life the late James David Golden. They are survived by their two beautiful daughters Jamie Jo Golden of Sydney, Australia, and Jessica Dawn Golden of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pam is also survived by; her husband, Wayne Russell Timmons; her parents, Emma Josephine Moree and her husband Christopher and Donald LeRoy Ginn and his companion Jeanne Lewis; her sister, Donna Marie Son and her husband David Stephen Beidel; sons Philip David Beidel and Dalton Gregory Son of Tallahassee, Florida, her sister Vicki Sue Schrick and her husband Robert Francis Schrick; sons Derrik Mitchelle Wiggins and Nicholas Giles Wiggins of Olathe, Kansas. She is also survived by her in-laws, Delta Dee Brummitt and James Lee Brummitt of Independence, MO and several cousins.
Pam enjoyed interior decorating, flower gardening and traveling to see her daughters. She hosted an annual “Golden Girls Party” to celebrate the holidays and was always the first to dance. Pam had a beautiful spirit and a giving heart. This radiated in her contagious smile and loyalty to family and friends. Pam is a 1981 graduate of Fort Osage High School and played both basketball and softball. Pam worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and later transferred to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Georgia where she was most recently a Data Support Analyst.
The family is requesting that all donations and correspondence to them be made in care of the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Greater Kansas City Head for the Cure in Pam’s name.
Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at East Side Baptist Church, 19901 E. 78 Highway, Independence, MO. Followed by a private family burial at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39TH St., Independence, MO 64055.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Pam’s many wonderful and kindhearted friends for their love and continued support throughout Pam’s illness. We also wish to thank the compassionate and tireless staff at Kansas City Hospice.
