Larry Goosman
December 29, 1937 — February 13, 2015
Larry D. Goosman, 77, of Lees Summit, MO, passed away February 13, 2015, after a brief illness.
Family will greet friends on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 7-9pm, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, Feb. 19, at the chapel. Burial will follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Ruppert Goosman, in 1990, and his second wife, Mary Ann Corlew Goosman, in 2012. He is survived by sons: Mark Goosman (Sharon), and Donnie Warner (Kelly); daughters: Lori Kilburn (Joe), Shari Faulkner (Jim), and Kim Hobbs (Steve); 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and his ever-loyal companion- his Cocker Spaniel, Betsy.
He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Marble Masons Union and a tile setter for 35 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
