Robie F. Gordey, Jr.

Robie F. Gordey, Jr., 42, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday June 19, 2004 at the Medical Center of Independence. Graveside services are 12:00 noon Saturday June 26, 2004 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Thursday June 24, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Robie was born March 9, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Robie F. and Mary Ann (Cuezze) Gordey, Sr. Robie worked for AT&T for 17 years. Mr. Gordey is survived by his wife Kathy (Balcom), daughter Darian both of the home; mother Mary Ann Gordey, brothers Stephen and Gary Gordey all of Independence, MO; sister Robyn Otwell of Valley City, ND; aunt Cecelia Cox of Olathe, KS; uncle Darrell Gordey of AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robie was preceded in death by his father Robie F. Gordey, Sr. in 1996.
