Ann Carol Gorman, 73, Kansas City, MO passed away July 28, 2006 in the comfort of her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Wed., Aug. 2, 2006 at St. Mark�s Catholic Church, 3736 Lee�s Summit Rd., Independence, MO; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday night at the church where a Prayer Service will begin at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
Ann was born Nov. 27, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Thomas & Doerle Doran. She married her long-time sweetheart, Kenneth R. Gorman on Oct. 17, 1953. Ann�s passions were her family, her Irish decorations, comics and puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brother Bill Doran. She is survived by her sons Brian Gorman and wife Kathy, and Mark Gorman; daughters Nancy Wilson and husband Mark, and Lisa Gorman; brother Tom Doran; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
