Laura Gosserand-Liles

Laura Ellen Gosserand-Liles, 58 of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Cremation is planned with a Memorial Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 416 W. 12th St., Kansas City, MO 64106. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Donations may be made to Giving Hope Through Sight, 5900 Sterling Ave., Raytown, MO 64133. Laura was born January 11, 1955 to Landery and Mary (Howard) Gosserand. She had worked as an optical office manager for 27 years. She enjoyed listening to music, collecting angels and most of all, spending time with her grandson. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Survivors include; a daughter, Cody Williams and her fiancé Matthew Miller; a grandson, Nate Green II; her life partner, Michael Hunter of the home; a sister, Betty Gosserand- Freeman and 5 brothers, Buck Gosserand, Danny Gosserand, Landery Gosserand, Jr., Kevin Gosserand and John Gosserand. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Lester, Phillip and Pete Gosserand.
