Nina Joan Goswick (Cary)

Nina Joan Goswick, 76, of Independence, MO passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Nina was born on October 21, 1941 in Rich Hill, MO to Joe and Nina Beatrice (King) Cary. Nina enjoyed working in her flower gardens especially her rose bushes. Nina and her late husband Kenneth enjoyed time spent at their lake house and traveling to National Parks. Perhaps her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with children. She had owned a Day Care Center for several years and this was some of her fondest memories. As grandchildren came along she relished all of the time that she was able to spend with them. Survivors include: son Kenny Goswick II and his wife Kristine; daughter Kelly Betts and her husband Mike; sisters Joyce David, Beverly Sue Crouse and Lyndal Goswick; eight grandchildren; a large extended family and many friends. Nina was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth Goswick I.
