Nathan Allen Graves, of Lone Jack, MO, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 46 at his home. Nathan was born to parents Kenneth and Linda Graves on October 03, 1974 in Kansas City, MO.
Nathan grew up as the eldest of three boys and attended Lone Jack High School. After high school, he went to work for his family business under his father as a skilled wallpaper hanger. He was a proud union member of the IAUP DC#3 from 1999 to 2011. Nathan married Jessica Colby in 2006, and the couple had three beautiful children.
Nathan was a thrill seeker who pushed the boundaries and knew no limits. He was an athlete all through school, playing baseball, football, and track. He also enjoyed weight lifting, bowling, camping/canoeing, and cooking. He was also a drum major and tuba player for his highschool band. His true passion was skydiving, he always said that was when he felt the most free. Nate’s humor would always light up the room. Nathan loved his children and will live on through them.He was a loving, caring, sensitive soul that will be cherished and missed greatly.
Nathan is survived by his father, Kenneth and stepmother Martha Graves, his mother Linda (Allen) and stepfather Jim Moranville; his wife Jessica Graves, daughters, Alexis and Addison; his son, Aiden Graves; his brothers, Tyler and wife Erin and Bradley Graves; his nieces, Brooklyn, Avery and Allie; and his nephews, Tanner, Brody and Cooper.
Cremation is planned with services at a later date.
