Lita Lou (Fisk) Greb, 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St . Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born in Independence, Missouri, the only child of John Winfield Fisk and M. Lorene (Sumner) Fisk on September 23,1928. She graduated from William Chrisman High School Class of 1946, and attended KU and William Jewell College. She met her husband George Robert “Bob” Greb on her first weekend home from college and married him November 15, 1947. They were married for more than 45 years before her husband’s death in 1993. Mrs. Greb led a full and active life. She enjoyed all kinds of music, shopping and her many friends. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 60 years, the PTA, Christian Women’s Fellowship, and sang in her beloved Chancel Choir for 40 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cook and homemaker. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. Mrs. Greb is predeceased by her parents, her husband, George Robert and her youngest grandson, Michael “Mick” Corless. She is survived by her children, George W. Greb and wife Cindy; Sara K. Corless and husband Mike; Susan L. Lundquist and husband Alan. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Joseph Greb, Bradley Lundquist, Kara Lundquist, and Molly Corless; and four great-grandsons, Neil, Liam, Bram and Finn.Friends may call at 10 am on Thursday, December 2nd at First Christian Church, 125 S. Pleasant, Independence, with Funeral service at 11 am. Burial immediately following at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the First Christian Church are requested.
