Kristie Marie Green (Green)

Kristie Green, age 37, passed away on December 26th with her family by her side.

Kristie was born on December 19th, 1977 in Independence, Missouri and from that point on Kristie brought a smile to faces everywhere she went. Kristie earned her Associates Degree May 16, 2013 on her way to becoming an RN. Kristie was most known for her desire to see people smile and laugh. Her goal was to become a career caregiver after completing her education not only because she was devoted to helping those in need, but to better secure the future of her children and grandson.

Kristie is survived by her 3 children; Damon Williams, Latool Williams, and Sammy Foster as well as her grandson Calueb Visnich. Also by her 3 siblings; brothers Michael and Daniel Green, and her sister Brittany Martin and parents, Stanley Lloyd Green and Brenda (Shower) Lee.

The funeral services will be held at the Carson-Speaks chapel at 1501 W. Lexington Ave. at 6:00 PM in Independence on Sunday, January 4th. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations toward the Kristie Green fund, which was started to fund the funeral services but donations now will go toward the needs of her children and grandson.
