Robert E. Green, 95, Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church; 9020 E. 51st Terr, Kansas City, MO 64133. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shepherd Center, Raytown, MO.
Bob was born in Kansas City, MO the son of Frank J. and Mary A. (Brennan) Green. He attended Rockhurst High School. Bob had worked for Swift Packaging Company and later as a clerk for the postal service. He was a member of St. Bernadette Church, Senior Barn Players and volunteered at the Shepherd Center.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Fitzgerald Green; three brothers; two sisters and his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife Rose C. Green of 36 years; step son, John Watson and wife Marianne; five step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; and two step great great grandchildren; and additional nieces and nephews.
