Sylvia M. Green

Sylvia M. Green, 86, Independence, MO passed away July 10, 2006 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Blue Springs. Services will be 2 pm, Wed., July 12, 2006 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The family suggests contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Sylvia was born Nov. 13, 1919 in Big Timber, MT and has lived in Independence since 1923. She was a member of the VFW Women�s Auxiliary Post #1000. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Green and sisters Mary Norman and Nadine Cooper. She is survived by daughter Sylvia Powers, Independence, MO; son Gary Gaw, North Kansas City, MO; daughter Sandra Marshall, Nevada; daughter Patricia Eiskina, Lone Jack, MO; son Arthur Green, Oak Grove, MO; sisters Lenora Godfrey; Beulah Kliefoth, both of Independence; Bonnie Hibdon, Liberty, MO; brother J.D. Shull, Independence, MO; twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
