Thomas E. Green, born November 28, 1945, departed on his “Eternal Patrol” from his Kansas City, Missouri residence after a long battle with congestive heart failure on January 1, 2008. He was a graduate of William Chrisman High School and the U.S. Naval Submarine School. He also served as an Acolyte and was a Vestry member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Independence, MO. He was an inventory manager for 35 years in the structural steel industry. He is survived by his wife, Mary Judith (Gutowski) Green of the home; two daughters, Caredith Michelle and husband, Timothy David Marlow, Mary Katherine and husband Henry Clay Donaldson III; two grandsons, Joshua David and wife Michelle Marlow, Justin James Marlow; mother, Helen Victoria Green; two brothers, Jerome Paul and wife Roxie Green, Lawrence Michael Green; Thom’s two sons, Christopher Alan Green and Shane Matthew Green; Judy’s sister, Sr. Michael Mary Gutowski, RSM of New Orleans, Louisiana, three nieces; one nephew; and many great nieces and great nephews. A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the Trinity Episcopal Church, Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Resurrection North Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerome Paul Green, Lawrence Michael Green, Timothy David Marlow, Henry Clay Donaldson III, Victor Lee Ward, Joshua David Marlow, Justin James Marlow, all of the greater Kansas City area and David Allen Davidson of Lawrence, KS.
