Lorina Mae Greene

Lorina Mae Greene, 89, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2006 at her home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Lorina was born October 3, 1917 in Kansas City, KS to John and Ellen (Thompson) Ford. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and playing Bingo in her spare time. Mrs. Greene celebrated her 89th birthday last week with all of her children present. Lorina is survived by her children William Roberts and wife Marianthi, Irene Noyes and husband Don, Maxine Leas and husband Lyle, Eileen Bechtel, Carl Roberts and wife Diana, Coreen Freeman, and Richard Greene; 27 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Lorina was preceded in death by her son Keith Roberts in 1996.
