Edith Greenwood

Edith Greenwood, 84 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at the Independence Regional Health Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday October 10, 2003 at the Chapel in the Groves Retirement Center, 1515 W. WhiteOak, Independence, MO. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Edith was a volunteer for many years at the Groves Retirement Center and a Charter Member of the National Frontier of trails in Independence. She is survived by two sons, Lyman R. Greenwood III and Guerard A. Greenwood; one daughter, Judyth M. Tomenga; one sister, Allie V. Hunter; and five grandchildren.
