Gregory Paul Adams

June 27, 1964 — July 5, 2023

Leavenworth, Kansas

Gregory Paul Adams passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was 59. Greg was born to Robert “Bob” Adams and Nancy (Watson) Cochran on June 27, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Shortly after high school Greg enlisted into the United States Navy and proudly served his country stationed on the USS New Jersey. During his time in the Navy, he learned many useful skills and found that he had a knack for fixing and handling electronics. He was able to begin a civilian career with KC Wireless after his tour was over and dedicated several years of his life as an electronics technician. Throughout his childhood, Greg spent most of his spare time at Lake of the Ozarks with his family water skiing, boating and exploring the woods. In his adult years, he was also able to create many wonderful memories with his son, Brandon while fishing and playing in the water at the family lakehouse at Truman Lake.  Greg’s hobbies included building intricate model ships, conquering sudoku puzzles and jammin’ out to classic rock n roll music. He had a mischievous ornery spirit and enjoyed “stirring the pot,” yet was also very friendly, good-natured and quick to laugh.

Greg is survived by his mother, Nancy Cochran; son, Brandon Adams; sisters, Kimberly Adams and Robin Yates (Robert Boyce); niece, Lindsey Yates (Jessica Cash) and great nephew, Matthew Cash.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lee Adams; step-father, Donald Cochran and brother, Jeffrey Adams.
