Roland Dean "Bud" Gress
July 13, 1951 — September 29, 2022
Roland Dean “Bud” Gress, 71, passed away peacefully Thursday September 29, 2022, at KU Med Center after a long battle with cancer.
Bud graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1969. His careers included the things he enjoyed doing, commercial and residential construction and commercial trucking.
He is survived by Nancy of the home; son Michael Gress and his wife Nichole; daughter, Kristen Gress; grandchildren, Kyleigh Gress, Hadley Gress, Payton, Preston, and Cameron Aguirre, all of Grain Valley. Also survived by his sister Lucinda “Cindi” Gress Jones, of Independence.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 8, 2022, at 2pm at the Community of Christ Church 1001 S Sibley Street, Buckner, MO 64016.
