James Earl Griffin, 49, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at his residence. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel in Independence, MO. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, MO. Burial will be in the Marcus Memorial Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m., until service time Friday at the chapel. James was born November 24, 1955, in Fredericktown, MO, to George Earl and Lois (Spain) Griffin and graduated high school there in 1973. He had owned and operated J&J Griffin Complete for a number of years and was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church. He was married to Jordan Kellner on October 12, 1996. Other survivors include: a sister, Carolyn LaChance of Park Hills, MO; his mother, Lois Griffin of Park Hills, MO; 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
