Bonnie Jean Grimm (Mchenry)

Bonnie Grimm, 79, of Independence, MO passed away September 16, 2016. Graveside services will be 10 am Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Bonnie was born on July 31, 1937 in Jackson County MO to Harold and Elizabeth (Breckenridge) McHenry. She graduated from Northeast High School. Bonnie retired from Blue Ridge Bank after 30 years of service. She enjoyed boating, bowling, crafts, and sewing. Bonnie was devoted to her grandchildren. Survivors include; sister Sandra McHenry; grandchildren Nichole Cumbie and Dustin Cumbie; cousins Judy Roberson and Fr. Richard McHenry; nieces Dawn Hahnfeld-Sinclair and Michelle Rusk; great nephews Cody Hanes and Aaron Hanes; great niece Samantha Hanes; and a great great niece McKinley. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Grimm, and sons Richard Cumbie and Scott Cumbie. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Villages of Jackson Creek and Crossroads Hospice for the loving care of Bonnie.
