Mary E. Guarino

Mary E. Guarino, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at St. Mark�s Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.. Burial in St. Mary�s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer�s Association. Mary was born July 25, 1924 in Springfield, MO to Alfred and Harriet (Avery) Underhill. Mrs. Guarino was a proud Foster Grandparent at the Independence Family Learning Center. She loved children, especially her grandchildren who called her Grandma Meg. Mrs. Guarino was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Dominic Guarino in 1977. Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Tom Saputo, Donetta and Jim Mautino, Debbie and Anthony Guadagnano, Joann Moore, Mary and Karim Pazhooki,; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren on the way; sister Mildred Siraguso; a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends Betty Lukens and Jean Saputo.
