Grace Elizabeth Guastello

Grace Elizabeth “Gracie” Guastello, 85, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at John Knox Village Care Center in Lee's Summit, MO. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64081, with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a reception at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time. Grace was born June 26,1936, in Kansas City, KS to Denver M. and Julia E. (Miller) Hale. She worked as a Federal Employee most of her life. During her career with the government, she enjoyed working in Kansas City, California and Maryland. After retirement she began a second career with Edward Jones where she continued working throughout the remainder of her life. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Francis G Hale; 3 sisters, Pauline Rose, Daisy Wagoner, Ethel Wirthman; one daughter Annette Pettit, 2 grandchildren, Lilly Mae Whitacre and one stillborn, Baby Harmon. Grace is survived by 2 sisters Birdye O'Neil and Naomi Lackey; 3 daughters, Deborah Cox of Centennial, CO, Cynthia Lalicker (Terry) of Lee's Summit, MO, Marcia Hughes (Wesley) of Lakewood, CO. 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren.
