Ray & Maggie Gurley

Ray Gurley, 58, and Maggie Gurley, 60, Independence, MO passed away June 10, 2006. A memorial service will be held 7 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation beginning at 5 pm. Cremation.
Ray was born June 23, 1947 in Ada, OK. Maggie was born Aug. 27, 1945 in Lawrence, KS. They both graduated from Baldwin City (KS) High School and were married in 1966. Both were retired from the City of Independence, MO- Ray as a Building Official for 27 years, and Maggie as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Health Dept.
They were preceded in death by Ray�s father Euel Sam Gurley; Maggie�s father George M. Rockhold and brother Bernie Rockhold. Ray and Maggie are survived by their son, Tony Gurley, Independence, MO; Ray�s mother Elva McCoy; sister Loeata Stanley, brothers Bill Gurley and Sam Gurley; Maggie�s mother Wilma Rockhold; sisters Helen Hapes and Betty Lorenz; brothers Walter "Buck� Rockhold, Leonard Rockhold, Bob Rockhold and Glenn Rockhold.
