Kerri Bess Guthrie, 57, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at 10:00am at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
Kerri was born November 19, 1960 in Fort Worth, TX to Fred Sr. and Betty (Steele) Guthrie. She was a long time attendant of I Can Learning Center in Independence. Although given extremely difficult life challenges from her birth, Kerri was a light and joy to those around her.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Guthrie, Jr. She is survived by her parents, Fred Sr. and Betty of Independence; her sister, Wendy Sue Viers and her husband, Jim of Greenwood, MO; her sister-in-law, Teresa Guthrie of Weston, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews; and 5 great nieces and nephews who loved her.
