Robert Michael Gujahr, 95, Independence, MO, formerly of New Your City, NY passed away May 21, 2018. A committal service with Full Military Honors will be at 11:00 am, Monday, June 4 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
Robert was born Jan. 21, 1923 in The Bronx, NY. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He lived most of his life in New York but had recently moved to the Independence area to be near his grandson.
Robert is survived by his grandson David Gutjahr and wife Lauren and great-grandchildren Collyn, Gavyn and Brooklyn.
