Madge Guyll

Madge Guyll, 95, of Hallsville, MO passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will follow the visitation at 10:00 am at the chapel. Madge was born December 6, 1920 in Jacket, MO to Robert and Nella Vansandt. After high school she worked several jobs including the selective service, social security and for the VA hospital. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards and going to the casinos. Most of all she loved time with her children and grandchildren. Madge will be remembered by her son Fred Guyll and wife Mary of Independence, MO; daughter Dana Stephens and husband Grant of Hallsville, MO; grandchildren Cassandra Brooks and husband Joel, Angela Calvert and husband Bill, Eric Guyll, Marissa Guyll, Micayla Guyll, and Hannah Stephens; great grandchildren Tabitha Guyll, Elizabeth Calvert, Seth Calvert, and Owen Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1978. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Compassus Hospice 3050 Interstate 70 Dr. SE #100, Columbia, MO 65201.
