Violet C. Hitchcock Hacker, 89, of Belton, MO passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003. Services will be 11 am Thursday, June 19th at Crossroads United Methodist Church; with interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at the Church. Violet was born October 8, 1913 in Skidmore, MO. She met her husband Robert L. Hacker in Batavia, AR in 1935. They were married Nov. 7, 1936 in Ozark, MO and enjoyed 66 years, 7 months, 8 days of married life together. Violet was preceded in death by her children, James Robert, Sandra Beth, and Lois Evelyn and is survived by her husband Robert L. Hacker; son, Douglas Roy Hacker of Lynn Haven, FL; sisters, Sue Coffman, Mary Alice Funk, and Charlotte Pierce; a brother, Marvin Hitchcock; a son-in-law, and 2 daughters-in-law; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 4 grand daughters-in-law; 1 great grandson-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.
