Roger L. Haden

Roger L. Haden, 76, of Independence, MO went to be with the Lord February 10, 2004 at his daughter�s home. Services will be 7 pm Thursday, February 12th at Birchwood Baptist Church, 39th & Blue Ridge in Independence. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 pm until service time. Interment in Salem Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to KC Hospice. Roger was born March 14, 1927 in Independence, MO to LeRoy and Beulah Haden. He graduated from Wm. Chrisman High School. Roger served proudly in the US Coast Guard during WW II. He was a residential builder in Independence for over 2 decades. After retirement, he owned a golf driving range on 40 Hwy. Roger is survived by his daughters, Debbie Cunningham and husband Larry of Independence, MO, Sara Masters and husband Roger of Independence, MO; grandson, Travis Velder and wife Amy of Blue Springs, MO; granddaughter, Tracy Parsons and husband Charles of Independence, MO; grandson, Matt Masters and wife Stacy of Kansas City, MO; great granddaughter, Corrie Jane Velder of Blue Springs, MO; great grandsons, Colin and Bryce Masters of Kansas City, MO; sister, Janann Adams and husband Frank of Atherton, MO; step granddaughters, Angie Pepper and Nicki Adams and husband Dave; step great grandchildren, Skye and Brooke Pepper, Hunter and Madison Adams
