Clifford Eugene "Gene" Hagaman

Clifford Eugene “Gene” Hagaman, 79, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 15th at 11:00am, at Blue Springs Christian Church, 7920 MO-7, Blue Springs, MO 64014. The family requests casual attire in honor of Gene.
Gene was born April 13, 1940 to Orlin and Lessie (Rush) Hagaman in Santa Monica, CA. Gene has had careers in police work and providing services to individuals with special needs. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed traveling, camping, hiking and riding a motorcycle. He always had a generous heart for helping people and gave many of them shelter in his home. Gene has attended Blue Springs Christian Church for the last 14 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Darrell and his grandson, John.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy; daughters Cheryl Warren and her husband, Eric of Independence, Julie Dyer and her husband Don of Lee’s Summit; his son, Jeff Hagaman of Blue Springs; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Wayne Hagaman of Huntington Beach, CA and Ron Hagaman and his wife Yvonne of Independence; sister-in-law, Larrene Hagaman of Independence, brother-in-law, Ron Harris of Jackson, MI, sister-in-law, Audrey Stephens and her husband Doug, of Scottsdale, AZ and sister-in-law, Brenda George and her husband Mike of Grand Junction, CO; as well as, several nieces and nephews. He leaves a legacy in the brothers and sisters of Christ from the Ivory Coast, son-in-love, Moise Kabre of Chicago, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blue Springs Christian Church Mission Fund.
