Lowell Dean Hake

Lowell Hake, a business manager at Landmark Dodge and resident of Blue Springs, MO, passed away unexpectedly on May 19th, 2022, at the age of 59 while at home.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Nancy Hake; his daughter, Isabella Hake; and his brothers, Marvin Lee Hake and Larry Ray Hake. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis Lee and Leta Fern Hake; his grandparents, Netta Lee Hake, Marvin and Dorothy Lutjen.

Lowell was born in Independence, Missouri on June 1st, 1962, to Otis Lee and Leta Fern Hake. He attended the University of Central Missouri.

Lowell was a kind man who liked to take on difficult projects at work and around the house. He was the creator of The Parkways Holiday Lights sequenced light show, where he put on spectacular music and synchronized light shows for the neighborhood children starting from Halloween to New Year’s Day. He was a problem-solver who enjoyed putting together puzzles with his mother and playing interactive games on his phone. Lowell had many friends who enjoyed his pub-crawling and love for craft beer. He will be missed deeply by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Visitation is scheduled on Thursday, May 26, 2022, family will greet guest from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Missouri 64055. A Graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.
