H. Elaine Halastik

H. Elaine Halastik, 65 of Independence, MO passed away, Mon. Jan 5, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Thur. Jan. 8th, 2004 at the Speaks Midtown Chapel, 1101 West Walnut, Indep. MO. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Wed at the chapel. Mrs. Halastik was born on Mar. 22, 1938 to Frank and Pearl Jarboe in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was a Cashier at Sam�s Stadium Parking in Kansas City, MO. She was very active in the activities at the Sermon Center. She was a member of the Rockwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Halastik was preceded in death by her husband, James Halastik in 1994 and a son, James "Jimmy Boy� Halastik in 1985. She is survived by a son, Stephen M. Halastik of Independence, MO. Three daughters, Meadena Leverich of Kansas City, MO, Searena Biggs of Independence, MO and Katreena Lawson of Lee�s Summit, MO. Five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Alexander, Alexia, Brian and Jordan. One brother, Kelly Jarboe of Blue Springs, MO. Two sisters, Jeanetta Richardson of Lynnwood, WA and Edna Burton of Lee�s Summit, MO.
