Madeline Marie Hale, 88 of Sugar Creek, passed away Mar. 4, 2006 at Rosewood Health Center. Mrs. Hale was born on Jan 25, 1918 in Sugar Creek, MO and was a lifelong area resident. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking. She had a love and passion for helping and caring for others. She spoke Croatian fluently and was in constant communication with family and friends in the homeland. Madeline was a faithful member of St. Ann�s Catholic Church for many years. She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Floyd A. Hale of the home. A daughter Joanne Bolger of Independence. Three grandchildren, Kathy Wald, Brian Bolger and Craig Bolger, all of Independence; seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Snow of Sugar Creek and Katie Grimes of Kansas City, MO and by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Hale will lie in state from 6 - 7:30 pm, Tue., Mar 7, 2006 at the Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO. A rosary will be said at 10 am, Wednesday at the chapel with the graveside service immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to St. Ann�s Catholic Church, 10113 E.
