Paul Hall

April 6, 1939 — January 12, 2017

Paul “Gene” Hall, 77, of Independence, MO passed away January 12, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30-11am Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the chapel. Burial will take place in Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Gene was born on April 6, 1939 in Kansas City, MO to Willard and Ruth (Christy) Hall. He was a graduate of Paseo High School. After graduating, Gene joined the Air Force where he proudly served for 4 years. Upon returning to area Gene went to work for KCP&L, where he remained for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting quail and deer, playing golf, or just watching sporting events. He also enjoyed listening to talk radio or watching the History Channel. His great sense of humor will be missed by all that loved him. Survivors include; wife Carol (Lockhart) Hall, children Ronnie, Connie, Debbie, Steve, Glenda, Russ, and Glen; brother, Phil McCoy; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; a large extended family including many nieces and nephews. Gene is preceded in death by; his parents; wives Dorothy and Wilma; daughters Debra and Dawn and sister, Diane Johnson.
