Jo Ann Haney

Jo Ann Haney, 58 of Kansas City, MO passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with cremation to follow the services. The family will greet friends from 9 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning at the chapel. Donations may be made to Humane Society of greater Kansas City. Jo Ann was born December 17, 1948 in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas to Harold and Gertrude (McIntosh) Attebery. She grew up in the Kansas City area graduating from Raytown High School in 1966. She had worked as a bus driver at Kansas City International Airport for the last 18 years. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and especially her dogs. Jo Ann was married to Gary Haney on September 7, 1967; he survives of the home. Other survivors include; sons, Mark Haney and Robert Haney of Quincy, IL; a sister, Sharon Thornton of Kansas City, MO and her mother and stepfather, Gertrude and Clyde Kidd of Trenton, MO.
