Hanna Keilan Jones

Hanna Keilan Jones, a vibrant spirit born on September 24, 1997, in Blue Springs, Missouri, left us far too soon on February 10, 2025, in Independence, Missouri. The world is a little dimmer without her infectious energy, which had the ability to light up any room she entered.

Hanna was a graduate of Grain Valley High School in 2016. Described as spunky, fearless, outgoing, and kind, she had a unique ability to make everyone laugh and smile.

Hanna was a gifted athlete, dedicating many years to gymnastics at GAGE, where her talent and perseverance shone through. She effortlessly mastered the complexities of the sport, embodying the grace and strength that gymnastics demands. Beyond gymnastics, she embraced volleyball, ran track, and cheered for her school teams. Above all her accomplishments, Hanna held a deep pride in being a mother. Her greatest happiness stemmed from her daughter, Mayce, who was the light of her life.

Hanna is survived by her mother, Kellie Schuette (Darin); father, Kent Jones (Tamara); daughter, Mayce Rose; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Owen Hunter; paternal grandparents, Georgia Jones-Kliethermes (Jim Shippee) and Alan and Joyce Jones; step-siblings, Mackenzie, Morgan, Brandon and Hannah; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Hanna's legacy will be celebrated with a visitation on February 18, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at Speaks Suburban Chapel located at 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards a trust account for her daughter, Mayce. Envelopes will be provided.

Though her time on earth was brief, lived boldly and her legacy of kindness and joy will endure in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
